If you have any information on performance in Wales that could be of use to the project, please get in touch!

Whether you are an artist who has made performance work in Wales, or an audience member who once witnessed a performance (voluntarily or involuntarily!), we would be pleased to hear from you.
Any material will be of interest - from actual pieces of documentation to vague memories of events caught out of the corner of one's eye.

Cysylltwch â ni os oes gennych unrhyw wybodaeth am berfformio yng Nghymru a allai fod o ddefnydd i'r prosiect!

Efallai eich bod yn artist sydd wedi gwneud gwaith perfformio yng Nghymru, neu'n aelod o gynulleidfa a welodd berfformiad unwaith (o'ch gwirfodd neu'n anwirfoddol!). Pwy bynnag ydych chi, hoffem glywed gennych.
Bydd unrhyw ddeunydd o ddiddordeb - o ddogfennau gwreiddiol i atgofion amwys am ddigwyddiadau a welwyd o gornel y llygad.

British Performance Art in the 1970s
Celf Perfformio Prydeinig yn y 1970au

Interviewee / Cyfwelai: Dave Stephens

Artist Dave Stephens studied fine art at Cardiff and Leeds in the early 1970s, then two of the most progressive art schools in the country. After graduating, Stephens quickly established himself as one of the leading protagonists of British performance art with his stream-of-consciousness monologues. In this conversation Stephens shares his memories of the British performance scene of the 1970s and his collaborations with the Matchbox Purveyors, especially Ian Hinchliffe, Rob Con and Roger Ely.

Yn ystod yr 1970au cynnar, astudiodd yr artist Dave Stephens gelfyddydau cain yn nwy o ysgolion celf mwyaf blaengar y Deyrnas Unedig at y pryd; yng Nghaerdydd ac yn Leeds. Yn fuan ar ôl graddio, sefydlodd Stephens ei hun fel un o ffigyrau mwyaf blaenllaw celf perfformio Prydeinig gyda’i fonologau llif yr ymwybod. Yn y sgwrs hon mae Stephens yn rhannu ei atgofion o’r sin perfformio Brydeinig yn y 1970au a’i berfformiadau ar y cyd gyda’r Matchbox Purveyors, yn arbennig Ian Hinchliffe, Rob Con a Roger Ely.
