If you have any information on performance in Wales that could be of use to the project, please get in touch!

Whether you are an artist who has made performance work in Wales, or an audience member who once witnessed a performance (voluntarily or involuntarily!), we would be pleased to hear from you.
Any material will be of interest - from actual pieces of documentation to vague memories of events caught out of the corner of one's eye.

Interviewees / Cyfweleion: George Auchterlonie, Mick Brennan, Mike Pearson, Jane Woddis

This conversation reunites four former students who met at Cardiff University in the late 1960s: George Auchterlonie, Mick Brennan, Mike Pearson and Jane Woddis. They share their memories of the emergence of alternative theatre in the context of student politics and student union festivals and offer a fascinating insight into the parallel development of two equally radical traditions: experimental physical theatre and community-based performance.

Mae´r sgwrs hon yn aduno pedwar o gyn-fyfyrwyr Prifysgol Caerdydd a fu gwrdd yno yn y 1960au hwyr: George Auchterlonie, Mick Brennan, Mike Pearson a Jane Woddis. Maent yn rhannu eu hatgofion o ymddangosiad theatr amgen yng nghyd-destun gwleidyddiaeth myfyrwyr a gwyliau undebau myfyrwyr, gan gynnig mewnwelediad i ddatblygiad cydamserol dau draddodiad oedd yr un mor radical â´i gilydd: theatr gorfforol arbrofol, a pherfformio wedi ei leoli yn y gymuned.

Mike Pearson, George Auchterlonie, Mick Brennan and Jane Woddis, who met as students at Cardiff University in the late 1960s, remember how they started out making performance work, inspired by the writings of Jerzy Grotowski.

Mae Mike Pearson, George Auchterlonie, Mick Brennan a Jane Woddis, a fu gwrdd fel myfyrwyr ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd yn y 1960au hwyr, yn dwyn i gof sut y bu iddynt ddechrau creu gwaith perfformio ar ôl cael eu hysbrydoli gan ysgrifau Jerzy Grotowski.
