This conversation reunites three key figures of British performance art – Robert Conybear, Roger Ely and Dave Stephens – and two major protagonist of British improvisational music – Lol Coxhill and G. F. Fitzgerald. They share their memories of the British performance art scene in the 1970s and their joint work with the late Ian Hinchliffe and The Matchbox Purveyors.
